Butterfly Mark-certified Garrard and Arena Flowers bring biodiversity to London
Garrard has collaborated with fellow Positive Luxury member, Arena Flowers, on a pollinating floral display. The display celebrates the launch of a new queen bee adoption pledge with purchases of Baby Bee motif luxury gifts for babies.
As part of its far-reaching sustainability journey, the bee adoption programme complements Garrard’s urban garden, where more than 100,000 honey bees happily live. This rooftop garden was installed to support biodiversity in urban areas, nurture healthy hives and promote an eco-friendly environment. Garrard has held the coveted Butterfly Mark, a certification awarded by Positive Luxury to businesses with a positive social and environmental impact, since 2017.
The collaboration reinforces the ways in which ethical businesses can creatively work together in driving a positive impact. Positive Luxury co-founder and CEO Diana Verde Nieto said:
We’re so excited to see a collaboration like this between two Butterfly Mark certified brands. Biodiversity is a critical issue – especially in cities. A rooftop apiary might not sound like much but in practice it can make a huge difference to bringing nature into an urban environment. Garrard and Arena Flowers have demonstrated the power of our community with this project and we’re hugely impressed by the work they are doing.
