Business Development Manager

We are looking for an individual that has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, a high level of organisation and focus, and the ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines. The team is growing, and we are now looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to build and develop relationships with luxury and premium lifestyle brands globally

To succeed in this role, you need a passion for luxury and or sustainability, be an excellent communicator who loves talking to clients and explaining to them Positive Luxurys values.

  • Experience creating and implementing pipeline strategies and forecasts
  • Develop and implement strong commercial relationships with major luxury and premium brands
  • Experience selling with a consultative approach and excellent negotiating skills
  • Experience writing and pitching proposals and presentations to senior management
  • Comfortable working as part of team as well as on your own
  • Methodical with good research skills for identifying new business opportunities
  • Comfortable spending a large percentage of your time on the phone building leads and pipeline, just sending emails doesnt get this job done, you need to talk!
  • Excellent organisational skills with an acute attention to detail
  • Highly energetic and proactive. Youre the kind of person that likes to make things happen and get things done
  • French/English bilingual at a fluent level

The Ideal Candidate Experience Required:

  • Ideally 3 years+ of B2B experience the luxury industry
  • Strong business skills with a wealth of commercial experience of managing similar businesses
  • Project management skills and ability see through the business development cycle from opening to closing deals
  • The ability to manage people at all levels and influence them
  • Strong problem-solving and creative skills
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure and keep to deadlines
  • Strong sales and negotiation techniques
  • Good attention to detail, time management and organisational skills

We are on the lookout for a Business Development Manager who is commercially driven with a strong knowledge of recruitment sales and a passion for the luxury industry and sustainability. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

In this key role, you will be developing the careers advertising platform offering brands the opportunity to share their vacancies.

  • Raise awareness & sell the Positive Luxury Careers platform by contacting the right stakeholder across all industries.
  • Develop sales strategy and build the sales pipeline.
  • Meet commercial revenue targets.
  • Manage all stages of the sales process, from negotiation to execution by engaging with prospective partners & clients (i.e.HR Managers).
  • A deep belief in the value of mission driven business and an alignment with Positive Luxury values and mission.
  • Ideally 5 years+ of B2B sales experience ideally within recruitment, media company or online subscriptions.
  • Strong understanding of the recruitment space.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • A warm and friendly individual with the ability to build honest, long lasting multifunctional relationships. Excellent and professional interpersonal communication skills, strong negotiation skills, and a great listener
  • A proven track record of exceeding goals and a focus on the bottom line. Evidence of the ability to consistently make good decisions through a combination of analysis, wisdom, experience and judgment.
  • Confident in taking initiative and able to communicate feedback constructively between clients and the team.
  • Highly organised with an understanding of how to multitask, address and organise client needs; professional and quick to respond to change.
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of additional languages such as French is a strong asset
