Business Development Manager

We are looking for an individual that has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, a high level of organisation and focus, and the ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines. The team is growing, and we are now looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to build and develop relationships with luxury and premium lifestyle brands globally

To succeed in this role, you need a passion for luxury and or sustainability, be an excellent communicator who loves talking to clients and explaining to them Positive Luxury’s values.

  • Experience creating and implementing pipeline strategies and forecasts
  • Develop and implement strong commercial relationships with major luxury and premium brands
  • Experience selling with a consultative approach and excellent negotiating skills
  • Experience writing and pitching proposals and presentations to senior management
  • Comfortable working as part of team as well as on your own
  • Methodical with good research skills for identifying new business opportunities
  • Comfortable spending a large percentage of your time on the phone building leads and pipeline, just sending emails doesn’t get this job done, you need to talk!
  • Excellent organisational skills with an acute attention to detail
  • Highly energetic and proactive. You’re the kind of person that likes to make things happen and get things done
  • French/English bilingual at a fluent level

The Ideal Candidate Experience Required:

  • Ideally 3 years+ of B2B experience the luxury industry
  • Strong business skills with a wealth of commercial experience of managing similar businesses
  • Project management skills and ability see through the business development cycle from opening to closing deals
  • The ability to manage people at all levels and influence them
  • Strong problem-solving and creative skills
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure and keep to deadlines
  • Strong sales and negotiation techniques

Senior Digital Content Executive

You will be creating original, audience relevant content, briefing and managing contributors, and using Google Analytics to monitor the performance of the web content. The insights gathered from this analysis will be used to shape your decisions on future content, achieving company growth targets and brand objectives.

  • Ensure the brand’s tone of voice transcends in a relevant way across all content and social media channels
  • Structure, write, edit and publish consumer relevant content across all channels.
  • Knowledge of CMS platforms such as WordPress is a must. HTML and Photoshop or InDesign is desired.
  • Experience of owning a content calendar and managing content production and publishing (including SEO, tagging and basic HTML).
  • Experience of working with and managing contributors across luxury lifestyle.
  • Excellent copywriting skills.
  • Familiarity with social media and the nuances of unique content for each platform.
  • Drive on going optimization of content, with a focus on SEO (technical & content) to ensure the highest quality at all time and drive organic growth.
  • Creating partnerships with other media publications in order to increase traffic to the website and subscribers
  • Basic experience of using Google Analytics to analyze content and campaign performance if desired.
  • A good understanding of all the internal settings in Google Ad Words in order to build campaign, Ad Group, and set up a PPC campaign in line with our content strategy.

  • Meet commercial revenue targets.

Website Manager

We are on the lookout for a Website Manager with strong analytical skills and an interest of both the luxury industry and sustainability.  You will be responsible for the Positive Luxury website handling day to day management and ensure that site is updated regularly and stays up-to-date. You will be working closely with the marketing team managing the content upload onto the site while ensuring that all links are up-to-date. Furthermore, you will be responsible for measuring and tracking site performance through our Google Marketing Platform 360 – especially Google Analytics. You will play an important role in the marketing team by providing insightful data – helping the team shape content and marketing strategy going forward.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all website content updates and uploads in WordPress ensuring that all content is recent and up-to-date. This includes (but not limited to) images, articles, video, reports, press coverage, and website copy.
  • Update HTML, CSS on the site as required.
  • Manage relationship between Positive Luxury and 3rd party tech partners and agencies for day to day website queries.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on how to structure content on the website following best UX practices.
  • Develop guidelines relating to web content and ensure these are adhered to.
  • Analyze and track performance of the site and gain insights on our audiences using heatmaps, Google Analytics and other relevant tools.
  • Present insights and suggest improvements to relevant teams (e.g. content and CRM) in order to help them improve and shape their content, targeting and segmentation strategies going forward. This includes on-going optimization of content, with a focus on SEO (technical & content) to ensure the highest quality at all times and drive organic growth.
  • Implement agreed changes to the platform’s layout and content based on the insights gathered in order to continuously improve the performance of the site.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Ideally 3 to 4 years+ in managing websites for a B2C online publication, ideally within the luxury industry.
  • Strong understanding and experience using Google Analytic and the rest of the Google Marketing Platform 360 tools.
  • Excellent analytics skills and knowledge of Excel is a must. You must be able to use pivot tables and key excel formulas used to analyze content and website performance.
  • Detailed knowledge of key metrics related to digital marketing (such as CPA, CTR, Bounce rate, traffic sources etc.)
  • Previous experience as a Digital Content Manager either client side or agency is desired.
  • Knowledge of CMS platforms such as WordPress & Django is a must.
  • HTML and Photoshop or InDesign is desired.
