Job Title: Sustainability Client Services Officer
Location: Hybrid working with office located in Shoreditch, London
Reports To: Sustainability Client Services Director
ROLE SUMMARY
Positive Luxury is seeking a Sustainability Client Services Officer who will play a key role in developing strong, trusted relationships with our partners and internally supporting the workload of the Sustainability Client Services Manager, working in close partnership. Our ideal candidate is highly organisded, an excellent communicator, and can work well within a cooperative and friendly team as well as being able to self-manage. The primary focus of the role is leading client management engagements through our ESG+ assessment and working closely with the Susstainability Client Services Manager to deliver world class client services, supporting clients throughout their sustainability journey to deliver real change and foster a long-term partnership. The successful candidate must be able to show their keen interest in sustainability and the luxury sector. Secondly, they should show they have the initiative to impact positive change to add value to our business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage client engagements during their ESG+ assessment journey providing advise and best sustainability practices to improve clients sustainability performance
- Provide support to the Sustainability Client Services Manager in the day-to-day management of clients who span numerous luxury verticals including: Beauty & Fragrance, Premium Drinks, Interiors & Living, Fashion & Accessories, Jewellery & Watches and Travel & Leisure
- Be a custodian of our CRM, ensuring clients’ information and stages are clearly defined and up to date
- Support the onboarding of new clients into the ESG+ portal and the client tracker
- Support asset and information gathering during the discovery phase, and ensure key internal documents & systems are accurate, up-to-date and organised
- Manage appointed tier 1-4 clients through their assessment journey across our product packages, ultimately helping them earn Butterfly Mark certification and providing post-certification transition planning support as required.
- In partnership with the Marketing team:
- Laise with clients to attain content as part of on-boarding and certification promotion on Positive Luxury’s website and other media channels
- Encourage clients to promote their certification and sustainability efforts across their owned channels
- Manage client comms to deliver fornightly and ad hoc emails adding value to the client community
- Track the implementation and impact of the Butterfly Mark and gather evidence of best practice to bolster usage of clients’ Butterfly Mark certification
- Build relationships across our network of brands, suppliers and retailers, as well as our Impact Network and other supporters of Positive Luxury
- Ensure that tasks are carried out within the allotted timeframe
- Support the team with a wide array of organisation tasks such as diary management, client content requests
- In line with Postive Luxury’s values, be a proactive, helpful, energetic and a positive ambassador for the business
KEY ATTRIBUTES
- Confident public speaker, with strong written communications skills in English
- Language skills (specially French, or Italian) in addition to English are a plus
- Detail oriented with a positive, highly motivated attitude
- Able to prioritise work to deadlines and budgets, managing several projects at one simultaneously and staying calm under pressure
- Capacity to work in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
- WordPress or knowledge of other marketing platforms is advantageous but not necessary
- Collaborative, yet excel at working independently
- Passionate about the difference sustainability practices can make
- Engaged in sustainability and proactive in keeping up to date with ESG topics outside of work
COMPENSATION & CULTURE
- Base salary £26-£28K depending on experience
- Hybrid working
