CARBON NEUTRALITY, MINIMAL WASTE AND WATER USAGE

Balance Holidays is working towards complete carbon neutrality through minimising the use of transportation and encouraging employees to work remotely.
They are also taking measurable steps to reduce their energy usage and minimise the waste they produce. Through tracking and monitoring their water consumption, they are working towards reducing that consumption, too.
Beyond their own eco-conscious goals, Balance Holidays evaluates each of their partners via a sustainability questionnaire tracking things like energy efficiency, water usage, the use of chemical products and plastic, support for local biodiversity, culture, heritage and tradition.

LOCAL AND SEASONAL SOURCING

Balance Holidays works with resorts that produce on their domain with certified organic systems or source ingredients locally and in season. Food portion control systems and donating the excess to local organisations is also encouraged.

WELLBEING FOR ALL EMPLOYEES

Balance Holidays supports women from different countries and cultures, and encourages both physical and mental wellbeing. That means flexible working days and hours, generous vacation allowance and yoga, meditation and mindfulness included in their office routine.
