JEWELLERY & WATCHES
UNTAMD
UNTAMD is a London-based jewellery brand rooted in Hatton Garden. We create elevated modern heirlooms defined by freedom, presence and craftsmanship. Thoughtfully designed and made to last, each piece reflects our commitment to enduring style and intention. Inspired by over a century of Hassanzadeh heritage, UNTAMD is a new chapter. Free to be.
SUSTAINABILITY PURPOSE
At UNTAMD, sustainability begins with longevity. The brand was created to offer a more responsible alternative to both traditional fine jewellery and short-lifecycle fashion jewellery, demonstrating that elevated design, exceptional durability, and greater accessibility can coexist. Crafted using 99% recycled metals and finished with 3 microns gold vermeil—one of the thickest layers available and a level rarely offered within the category – the jewellery is designed to last longer and be worn for years, rather than replaced after a season. This commitment to longevity extends beyond the product itself. UNTAMD encourages customers to keep and cherish their pieces, supporting their lifespan through cleaning services, repairs, flexible returns, and thoughtful aftercare wherever possible. Across the wider business, the same mindset informs its approach to waste reduction, more sustainable packaging, supplier standards, long-standing partnerships, and the integration of sustainability into daily operations. While proud of the progress reflected in its recent assessment, UNTAMD views sustainability as an ongoing responsibility – driven by continuous improvement, measurable action, and increasing transparency over time.

REAL CHANGE IN ACTION
WASTE
Waste is a clear priority for UNTAMD, reflected in its efforts to minimise waste across the supply chain and embed principles of circularity into the business. Waste management expectations are outlined within the Supplier Code of Conduct, supported by environmental management systems to ensure appropriate disposal practices. Suppliers are carefully screened to meet defined standards relating to waste production and management, reinforcing a consistent and responsible approach throughout the value chain.
UNTAMD places strong emphasis on its workforce, supported by a comprehensive employee handbook that outlines policies on pay, performance, and the integration of sustainability into daily operations. Broader policies, including those relating to human rights, apply not only internally but extend across the supply chain to cover all suppliers, as well as contracted and sub-contracted workers. These policies are clearly communicated and accessible to all relevant stakeholders.
SUTAINABLE PROCUREMENT
UNTAMD has implemented a robust Supplier Code of Conduct, encompassing key areas such as procurement practices, human rights, and environmental management. Supported by long-standing and trusted relationships across its value chain, the business is well positioned to drive meaningful change—both within its own operations and across the wider jewellery industry.
