Every product created at Simply Organic is designed with its more sustainable principles of planet preservation, waste reduction, and choosing raw, natural materials that do not disrupt the well-being of plants, animals, and wildlife.

REAL CHANGE IN ACTION
CLIMATE
Simply Organic utilises renewable energy in its supply chain and has implemented a corporate travel policy, minimising travel emissions and choosing less impactful travel options where emissions cannot be avoided completely. Employees can access loans for bicycles and protective gear to reduce commuting emissions. Simply Organic's energy reduction policy includes comprehensive staff training on efficiency and conservation. The brand has also adopted a company policy that requires lowest-impact transportation methods for inbound and outbound freight, focuses on route optimisation, and employs fuel-efficient vehicles. Monthly reviews with their shipping solutions provider help identify and correct inefficiencies in warehouse management software, covering all customer, export orders, and inter-warehouse transfers.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Simply Organic's corporate travel policy includes recommendations for sustainable accommodations and encourages staff to choose local restaurants serving organic food. The company actively supports various charities through donations and team volunteering. For example, Simply Organic donates personal care products to CASA, a domestic violence and women's safety shelter. In 2016, their Green Gift Project supported over 150 charities and NGOs with donations worth $25,000. Simply Organic Beauty also launched a self-love box to promote mental health awareness in beauty salons, donating $5 to To Write Love on Her Arms for each box sold. In 2023, the brand hosted a group of 15 elementary students through Indi Ed to teach them about ethical and sustainable beauty, aiming to inspire the next generation of conscious hairdressers. The company has provided over 500 pro bono hours of education and training to industry professionals. They also monitor and assess suppliers based on their community involvement strategies and initiatives.
ETHICS & FAIR OPERATIONS
Simply Organic is on a mission to change salons for the better. They have implemented a human rights and modern slavery policy, conducting due diligence to identify and assess the risks in their supply chain. All vendors must sign and confirm compliance through an External Partner Statement on Human Rights & Modern Slavery before establishing a vendor account. Simply Organic offers training to employees, suppliers, and relevant stakeholders to increase awareness and understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human rights violations. Their sustainable sourcing strategy is based on several principles: products must be non-toxic and adhere to the Credo Beauty Dirty List of ingredients, contain no synthetic fragrances and colourants, undergo no animal testing, and use organic and natural ingredients obtained through sustainable and responsible techniques.
