ME+EM
ME+EM is a modern luxury brand that believes that women shouldn't have to choose between quality and cost; between contemporary style and clothes they can actually function and look great in. An obsession with fit and fabric has made ME+EM experts in tailoring and outfit building, creating a brand dedicated to busy women, with collections that are easy to shop and style. ME+EM has nine stores across the UK, four in the US and concessions in Selfridges London, Selfridges Manchester and Harrods.
SUSTAINABILITY PURPOSE
ME+EM was founded on four key pillars: flattering, functional, forever, and fair. These pillars guide every aspect of the brand’s collections and inspire its approach to responsibility and sustainability. ME+EM has high aspirations for what it wants to achieve as a brand, and its sustainability purpose informs exactly how these goals are met – from the materials it sources to the way collections are transported. Led by a dedicated in-house sustainability team, the brand collaborates with leading industry expert organisations to shape its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) framework, as well as its sustainability pillars: Product, People, Planet, and Community. .

Performance is assessed against international agreements, global frameworks, standards and legislation.
REAL CHANGE IN ACTION

FAIR AND ETHICAL RELATIONSHIPS

ME+EM are committed to the fair and respectful treatment of people across every part of its business and supply chains. To uphold this commitment, they are active members of the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) and SEDEX, the leading global social compliance organisation. In addition to this, suppliers to the brand must align with the ME+EM code of conduct, which adopts the ETI’s own base code for respect for workers and outlines the brand's commitment to key global CSR commitments, such as Modern Slavery and anti-corruption.

RESPONSIBLE SOURCING

Quality and longevity are at the heart of the design process at ME+EM and their commitment to increasing the use of certified, traceable materials. In 2024, ME+EM were certified to the Textile Exchange Responsible Animal Standard, in addition to increasing their use of organic and recycled materials. Certification to the Good Cashmere Standard followed in 2025, alongside increased use of Lenzing fibres. ME+EM are active members of the Leather Working Group and uphold strict animal welfare policies.

CLIMATE

In 2024, ME+EM launched an ambitious project to measure carbon emissions across the entire business, resulting in the brand setting a science-based target for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, aligned with the 2016 Paris Climate agreement pathway to Net Zero. Extending beyond the brand's immediate footprint, they are taking action to reduce their Scope 3 emissions, which largely stem from materials and manufacturing partners. ME+EM are actively increasing the use of lower-impact, certified materials and working closely with suppliers to encourage renewable energy adoption across their facilities. To track progress against these goals, ME+EM have partnered with the carbon reporting platform Plan A, which provides full visibility of emissions and makes targeted action where it matters most. In 2024, ME+EM were proud to contribute to the British Fashion Council’s Low Carbon Transition Programme, partially funded by the UK Government, supporting collective efforts to decarbonise the fashion industry and drive meaningful change.
