FORBES & LOMAX

Forbes & Lomax has been producing elegant, innovative light switches and sockets for over thirty-five years. Renowned for launching The Invisible Lightswitch®, it has always approached lighting control from an aesthetic point of view. The Forbes & Lomax collection comprises nine carefully chosen finishes, which are suitable for traditional and contemporary interiors, making it the brand of choice for many top interior designers, architects and decorators. The range includes push buttons and dolly switches for integrating with intelligent lighting control and home automation systems. It also offers a bespoke engraving service. SUSTAINABILITY PURPOSE

Forbes & Lomax is committed to learning, adapting, and improving when it comes to their impact on the environment. Designed to stand the test of time, Forbes & Lomax switches and sockets are long-lasting and durable. The company takes pride in the quality of its products. While maintaining the core design of their switches and sockets, Forbes & Lomax strives to be as sustainable as possible and makes conscious choices regarding the materials they use. All their packaging, from the water-based tape used to seal boxes to the outer sleeves that protect their products during transit, is made from recycled materials. The Perspex plates for the Invisible Lightswitch® and dimmers are made from 100% recycled plastic. The Greencast® sheets of Perspex are created from the waste and scrap materials of manufacturers and fabricators, which would otherwise end up in landfill. Forbes & Lomax is proud to retain its long-standing British heritage and holds the official Made in Britain mark. All manufacturing is done in the UK, and their switches and sockets are assembled by hand at their workshop in Battersea. With a focus on locally sourced components, they aim to reduce their carbon footprint.

WHY POSITIVE LUXURY

We were drawn to ESG+ certification, because we want to provide the very best for our customers and show that as a brand, we are committed to reducing our environmental and social impact. It’s inspiring to see so many luxury brands working towards the same high standards and we want to be part of the mission.
