POSITIVE LUXURY’S

GOOD SUPPLIER PROGRAMME

GSP

The Good Supplier Programme is a service that vets responsible suppliers and connects them with luxury brands.

Real impact comes from focusing on the most pressing issues. That’s why the vetting prioritises what is materially significant within each industry – for example, hazardous materials in fashion or gemstone traceability – instead of generic sustainability claims. The evaluation focuses on actions already taken and realistic plans for continued improvement, rather than future promises. This approach ensures credibility and recognises meaningful progress. Supplier responsibility extends beyond internal operations, so the process also considers supply chain and, where relevant, downstream practices. This comprehensive lens gives brands confidence in the integrity of their sourcing network.

KEY FEATURES

Curated Good Supplier List

Suppliers are vetted against environmental, social and governance topics. Those who meet the standards are publicly listed on Positive Luxury’s website, promoted to the community and wider audience, and provided with IP and promotional guidelines to showcase their listing.

Supplier Profiles

Each Good Supplier’s listing will contain a detailed scorecard outlining their performance against Positive Luxury’s criteria, highlighting areas of excellence and for improvement. Profiles will be searchable by sector, geography and product category

MEMBER BENEFITS

Community Membership

Good Suppliers, upon being successfully vetted, become a member of the global Positive Luxury community, with access to in-person and digital events, tools within the Members’ Zone and the experts at Positive Luxury

THE VETTING CRITERIA

Luxury should set the standard for responsibility. The aim is to help brands identify suppliers who meet essential ethical and operational standards. The vetting process does not demand perfection but sets a clear benchmark: suppliers must score at least 50% on each material driver and a minimum of 60% overall. The assessment covers both direct operations and, where applicable, supply chain and downstream impacts – providing a fuller picture of responsible practices.

BECOMING A GOOD SUPPLIER

While the standards are high, the path to becoming a Good Supplier is simple. It starts with onboarding, supported by a dedicated account manager who guides suppliers through the vetting platform. A detailed assessment is completed and evidence submitted for review. Those who meet the scoring thresholds (50% per material driver and 60% overall) are listed as Good Suppliers and welcomed into the Positive Luxury community. Re-vetting takes place every two years, with coaching available for continued development and support.
