CLEAN BEAUTY AND RESPONSIBLE CRAFTSMANSHIP
Irene Forte Skincare considers the environment in every step of their production process. Everything is produced in both Italy and the UK, without chemicals or any other polluting ingredients, keeping a restricted substance list. They do not use palm oil or mineral oil, and every product is free from microbeads, phthalates, parabens, artificial colours, sodium laureth sulfate, sodium lauryl sulphate and abrasive fragrances, all of which help minimise the soil and water pollution. All of their materials are sourced responsibly and are traceable, and everything is produced by hand in their lab to reduce energy consumption.
All of Irene Forte Skincare’s paper materials and packaging produced in the UK and Italy use 100 percent recycled paper products. Their bottles and jars are sourced in Italy, and are made of 90 percent glass. The only plastic used in their packaging is for a particular pump-style bottle that doesn’t currently have a glass alternative that functions in the same way. For their second round of production, Irene Forte Skincare is planning to use post-consumer recycled plastic and more eco-friendly foiling and spraying techniques.
In addition to their packaging, Irene Forte Skincare also has a recycling program for the spas that use their products. At the end of each quarter, they collect all empty bottles and jars from their spa partners and reuse them in their labs, along with giving back £1 to the spa for every container they return.
