Job title: Commercial  Partnerships Executive

Shoreditch, London EC2

Reporting to: Partnership Manager

 

Positive Luxury awards a unique trust
mark, the Butterfly Mark, to luxury lifestyle brands enabling them to gain
recognition for their commitment to craftsmanship, service and sustainability,
whilst allowing consumers to identify at a glance which brands they can trust.

The company works with over 160 luxury
brands coming from international luxury markets (fashion, hospitality, beauty,
etc.) and it includes well-known brands (e.g. L’Oréal) as well as small and
unique brands.

To succeed in this role, you need to be an
excellent communicator with a creative commercial and strategic ability.
Somebody who loves building new and existing relationships, with the ability to
explain Positive Luxury’s values in a clear and concise manner.

Role:

The Commercial Partnerships Executive will
identify, generate and manage new business development opportunities and commercial
partnerships in order to help Positive Luxury achieve its operational
objectives and financial targets.  

Responsibilities:


  • Deliver a strategic
    plan against new and existing targets and KPIs in order to plan effective
    growth.

  • Identify and negotiate
    new business and partnerships opportunities.

  • Build, manage and
    maintain meaningful relationships with existing and new on line retailers
    across beauty, fashion, jewellery, premium drinks, travel and others.

  • Engage with a range of
    stakeholders at senior management level.

  • Prepare proposals and
    present to potential new business partners in order to grow and monetize
    different areas of Positive Luxury content.

  • Retain and grow commercial
    partnerships to achieve agreed income targets.

  • Utilize digital media tools
    to achieve specific external engagement objectives and be open to explore
    how to make use of digital tools to achieve better results.

  • Monitor, evaluate and
    report on a monthly basis in order to ensure that the annual targets are
    met.

 

Experience and
Skills required for this role:


  • At least 2 years proven
    experience in sales and managing major corporate partnerships achieving a
    high level of income.

  • Proven experience in
    achieving challenging targets.

  • Proven experience of
    developing and maximizing new business opportunities.

  • Proven experience in
    negotiating highly lucrative commercial partnerships.

  • Experience of proposal
    writing.

  • Take a solution
    focused approach to problem solving to succeed in difficult circumstances
    and remain positive and quickly recover from
    set-backs, keeping problems in perspective.

  • Able to analyze
    available information to make logical and sound judgements.

  • Able to convey complex
    ideas using a variety of methods to engage an audience and win
    understanding and support .

  • Able to present
    complex and difficult messages clearly with gravitas and impact.

  • Excellent research
    skills.

  • Organized and able to
    prioritize a busy workload and work to deadlines.

  • Able to work independently, co-operatively and as
    a team member the later is most important.

  • Respond flexibly to unforeseen events to ensure
    that effectiveness is not compromised.
