Luca Jouel is a boutique Australian fine jewellery brand that celebrates a sophisticated yet organic beauty. Luca Jouel sources all precious metals, diamonds and gemstones from ethical and reputable suppliers, and builds low-environmental impact choices into their business throughout.
Founded on a passion for creating beautiful heirloom quality jewellery with a modern sensibility, Luca Jouel’s pieces combine ethically sourced diamonds, gemstones and mix precious metals together with luxury hand finishes and a love for details.
Luca Jouel is a member of the Australian Fashion Council, collaboratively working to support and promote the growth of the Australian fashion and textile industry. The brand is also a member of Common Objective, formerly known as the Ethical Fashion Forum, which is a not-for-profit network focusing upon social and environmental sustainability in the fashion industry.
Luca Jouel proudly supports the Australian Childhood Foundation where part proceeds from every purchase are donated to assist the foundation in their efforts to safeguard children from the trauma of abuse, violence and neglect. Through their many programs, the Australian Childhood Foundation works tirelessly to help heal and advocate for the needs of vulnerable children, to promote and build stable and secure relationships for all children, and to engage people through education and their community empowerment initiatives.

Owner and designer, Tereena Lucas, is a fellow of the Gemmological Association of Australia (FGAA) and is currently completing the National Council of Jewellery Valuers (NCJV) course to achieve accreditation as a Registered Valuer. Tereena has always enjoyed two main interests, gemstones and holistic healthcare. She consequently spent many years working for a prominent jewellery valuation laboratory in Australia, and as a naturopath with degrees in molecular biotechnology and pathology.
Having also been afforded the opportunity to be involved in research looking into mechanisms of how environmental chemicals are able to cause specific congenital birth defects in little boys, Tereena continues to be passionate about our situation of global chemical super-saturation and the consequent hormonal disruption affecting both people and animals. This especially informs all of her decisions regarding how her collections are crafted and packaged and motivates her to create jewellery that is a positive luxury.
