Founded in 2011, The Set Hotels is a collection of modern grand hotels located in exceptional addresses in the finest cities across the world. Elevating the ordinary to the extraordinary, Hotel Conservatorium is certified by Green Globe for a luxury destination that cares.
Currently comprising the Conservatorium in Amsterdam, Hotel Café Royal in London and the latest Paris addition Lutetia, The Set Hotels group are designed to be the backdrop to where arts, culture and people, guests and staff alike, intersect to shape the ideas of tomorrow and enhance the vibrancy and allure of their destinations. The magic of The Set lies in bringing together competing principles: old and new, elegance and vibrancy, local and international, sophistication and informality. Under the visionary eye of pioneering architects, heritage properties are re-imagined into diverse, dynamic hotels.
Saving energy where they can, staff are shown how to conserve it around the hotel. Excess food is also resourcefully used for consumption in the staff canteen. Whilst the hotel practices green-friendly methods, they also enable visitors to minimise their environmental footprint during their stay; from changing all guest room and public area lighting to an LED equivalent, to collecting any left open soaps and amenities to donate towards the ‘Clean The World’ programme, where it is recycled and distributed to the countries that need it most.

CONSERVATORIUM HOTEL LAUNCHES SPECIAL PACKAGE TO COMBAT MASS TOURISM
With Amsterdam’s popularity as a tourist destination at an all-time high and expected only to increase further, the city has joined other notable destinations such as Venice and Barcelona in working on a series of initiatives to combat the effects of the tourist influx. In response to these well-publicized concerns, the city’s luxurious Conservatorium Hotel has launched an exclusive package that offers guests their choice of three day-trips outside the city, each of which showcases a different area of the Netherlands and Dutch cultural heritage.
