
Our community on their plans for the summer
After spending months under lockdown due to the global pandemic, this summer will feel different to recent years. From traveling abroad, to relaxing at home, planning a staycation or reminiscing about memorable journeys, we asked our community how they plan to spend their Summer. Natasha Robertson, Co-Founder of Lagom Staycation in Switzerland, Ticino, River Verzasca. “I’ve taken two holidays this summer. The first was my first ever Club Med in Sicily with my two boys. Fun, fun, fun. The second, 4 stunning days on my doorstep! I visited the Italian (Itish according to my son) speaking part of Switzerland, Ticino, for a romantic getaway. We stayed in Locarno on the shores of Lake Maggiore. We sailed, we swam, had beautiful dinners in piazzas and discovered the aquamarine Verzasca River, pictured. Both blissful travel experiences. Masks were required on public transport and all serving staff wore them everywhere but apart from that it felt gorgeous and normal.
