Established in 1998, Organic Trevarno are specialists of natural skincare. Trevarno’s philosophy is to produce chemical-free, organic skincare and its focus is on taking beauty back to its natural roots using long established, traditional ingredients and production methods. The company first started as a collection of natural handmade soaps and expanded into a whole range of skincare for all the family. Their products are made by hand at Trevarno Farm in South Cornwall.
Organic Trevarno was the first beauty company to gain formal organic certification from The Organic Farmers & Growers - Britain’s longest established organic certifier.
The company works hard in sourcing the highest quality, socially just and ecologically responsible suppliers of ingredients for their skin care range. It buys locally grown West country herbs and obtains sustainable Palm Oil from a producer who works closely with the Worldwide Fund for Nature.
Their initiative for palm-oil free soaps, a stance which was supported by The Eden Project, led to the creation of Trevarno’s soap deli at Eden. They have also established a special relationship with a community in the South American Rainforest to help them develop sustainable incomes and to aid conservation of the endangered environment in which they live, with their Rainforest Partnership soap.
