Malin+Goetz
(Malin+Goetz) is made up of duo entrepreneurs Matthew Malin and Andrew Goetz. Matthew has had extensive experience within the cosmetic industry, working for the likes of Barney’s in New York; Kiehl’s; Prada and Helmut Lang Parfums. His partner, Goetz, has also had vast experiences but within design and marketing, respectively. He worked as Marketing Director for his family-owned company, Vitra. This design manufacturer allowed Andrew to gain an extensive contact list of architects and graphic designers who ultimately helped to design the (Malin+Goetz) flagship store.
All of their products are produced in the USA and are developed with chemists whom are highly trusted within their industry. This trust and respect means that (Malin+Goetz) can assure high-quality products that are kind to the skin. Once the formulas are finalised, they are then produced, contained and sold in biodegradable or recyclable packaging, reducing (Malin+Goetz)’s impact upon the environment.
Living in New York with such extreme weather conditions both in the summer and the winter, both wanted to ensure that their formulas could help rejuvenate skin in the best way possible, naturally and carefully. With Matthew suffering from eczema and dry skin and Andrew's skin prone to oiliness, it is of great importance that each formula is carefully created for the most sensitive of skins, meaning that unnecessary colourants, synthetic fragrances and other additives are avoided at all costs.
(Malin+Goetz) is committed to delivering an eco-friendly and sustainable service from production to the use of their products. All ingredients are naturally sourced and some are altered with high-tech technological techniques to not only get the best out of each ingredient, but to reduce the negatives of each. Further extending on their use of ingredients, the company does not test on animals, nor do the support it. This reinforces the aspect that (Malin+Goetz) is eco-friendly, as well as sustainable and socially responsible.
The company has been featured and reviewed in a variety of digital and print publications, including Vogue Spain, Red, Men’s Health, Guardian Weekend, Cosmopolitan, InStyle, Vogue UK, Elle US, T magazine, Nylon magazine, Elle UK and Tatler.
