Jaida Hay
London-based clothing company, Jaida Hay, is a contemporary sports luxe label. Collections are created through masterful tailoring, innovative draping, use of exquisite fabrics and a unique sensibility of wearable, timeless design.
Their sustainable philosophy means the brand is dedicated to supporting British manufacturing and sourcing sustainable fabrics such as pre and post-consumer recycled fabrics as well organic cotton, hemp, cupro, Tencel, linen, bamboo and UK wool. They use a local dye house that uses natural dyes and design garments that will stand the test of time in an effort to keep them out of landfills.
The brand’s ethical code encompasses human rights, child labour, animal cruelty and underage models, stating the company will not do business with any organisation that is involved in these practices.
All sampling and garment production is done at an ethical and reliable factory in North London for better communication, to lessen their shipping carbon footprint, and to support the local community.
A member of the Ethical Fashion Forum, Jaida Hay hangtags are printed with soy ink on recycled paper and their garment bags are decomposable. Shipments are delivered in recyclable boxes and packed with as little waste as possible.
