Izzy Lane
Founded in 2007, Izzy Lane is a cutting edge and unique luxury brand. An established ethical brand, Izzy Lane is the leading voice of animal welfare in the fashion industry as well as being a leading voice for the use of British wool and the British textile industry.
At the core of the business are the 600 rare breed sheep that have been rescued. These sheep will live out their whole natural lives at their sheep sanctuary in North Yorkshire and their wool is used in all the knitwear and wovens. The cloth and yarns from the rare breeds of Shetlands and Wensleydales are processed, spun and woven in the UK. The Shetlands, a small primitive breed, have fibre as soft as cashmere.
All Izzy Lane collections have been at London Fashion Week ,in New York, Paris and Berlin and won the prestigious RSPCA Good Business Award in 2008 and 2012. In addition Izzy Lane also won the RE New Designer of the Year Award at the world’s first ethical fashion awards in Shoreditch and were asked to show their collection in a catwalk show for the Queen. Brand collaborations include Hobbs and Topshop.
Izzy Lane’s vegetarian shoe and boot collection is handmade by a cobbler in the East End of London from faux leathers, croc and snake skins and organic cotton.
