Hattie Rickards

Hattie Rickards launched the debut fine jewellery collection of her start-up, Hattie Rickards Jewellery, in 2011 at the age of just 26. Hattie had previously trained at Central St. Martins, worked under Solange Azagury-Partridge and Kara Ross and designed a collection for MADE. Her now well-established company features collections as well as bespoke commissions for private clients.

Hattie’s personal passion is the creation of something personal that tells a story and so the driving concept and inspiration of Hattie Rickards Jewellery is to “blend aesthetics with a story and knowledge of origin”.

Her launch collection, titled Revealed, featured a range of limited edition kinetic and fixed rings created from 18ct ethical gold and precious stones. All gold in this collection was certified fair-trade and fair-mined. The Hattie Rickards ‘Geo’ collection also features pieces handmade out of fair-trade and fair-mined ecological gold and precious stones.

As well as knowledge of the origin of their pieces, Hattie Rickards Jewellery makes sustainability and ethics a key concern. Their leading goal is to design striking and original jewellery whilst still adhering to strong ethical beliefs.

Currently, each piece is designed and handmade in the UK. All gems and stones are sourced from a supplier with strong ethical and environmental policies and their fair-trade and fair-mined gold is marked with a Dual Stamp applied alongside the hallmark.

Hattie Rickards Jewellery has been seen in the Times, Vogue, Stylist, Vanity Fair, Marie Claire and Elle and counts Poppy Delevingne amongst her fans.
