Positive Luxury

Goodone

Founded by Nin Castle and Phoebe Emerson in 2006, Goodone is an independent fashion label that reflects contemporary London through conscious design and bold, colour-blocked styles.

The company believes that an intelligent approach to design should not only satisfy the hunger for new and constantly evolving concepts in style, but should also address the environmental impact of the fashion industry. Goodone does this through up-cycling; combining new British and sustainable fabrics with reclaimed textiles for a design method that incorporates recycled fabrics, but is not restrained by it.

Collaborations have included Amnesty, Liberty, WWF, Greenpeace, Shelter and No Sweat. Goodone have designed collections and limited edition pieces for Asos, Fashion Targets Breat Cancer, Puma, and Tesco; reworking their ends of roll fabric with offcuts from the factory floor.

Nin was shortlisted for the RE:Fashion New Designer of the Year Award in 2008 and is now teaching sustainable fashion with co-designer Clare Farrell at St Martins. Along with their flagship Oxford Street store, a dedicated Goodone collection is available at Topshop.
