Emma Logue
In January 2012, Emma Logue launched LOGUE London, a luxury fashion label that provides effortlessly chic clothing for the stylish girl about town. The brand is defined by its fun, sexy and sophisticated pieces made in England from the finest fabrics.
The idea for LOGUE London came to life during Emma's time as a banker at Morgan Stanley. Unable to find an appropriate alternative to typical dull and boring business clothes, Emma decided to design her own pieces. These had to be versatile enough to get her from a plane to business meetings and then to cocktail hour and dinner. Always a fan of the classic button-through style, she commissioned a local seamstress to make several dresses to her own detailed design. Each dress had different collar and sleeve styles and fabric covered buttons and belts. They also featured unexpected flashes of colour on kick pleats and inside cuffs.
Encouraged by her interest in the dresses, Emma took an evening course in design and pattern making at the London College of Fashion and LOGUE London was born. The button-through dress with signature, vibrant flashes of colour formed the basis for the brand and is part of every collection.
