Eager Drinks
Eager Drinks founder and entrepreneur, Ed Rigg, grew the now-blossoming business from the back of his dad’s van, selling fresh juices at music festivals. Sales have grown from one bar in East Dulwich to over 750 top UK bars, hotels and restaurants and shelf space in Tesco, demonstrating that freshly squeezed, natural juice can be a success.
Not from concentrate, with nothing added whatsoever, not even water, Eager juices are all made in the UK and 100% pressed and squeezed. What really makes them unique is that they do not need to be refrigerated until opened, despite containing no artificial preservatives. Instead the company uses (ecological) packaging technology that allows the fruit to taste as good as the day they were juiced. This is done through flash-pasteurisation which lasts up to nine months before opening.
Their juice is sourced from all over the world: their pineapple juice from specially selected Central American pineapples (a little less sweet than other less refined pineapples), cranberries from North America, and tomatoes and apples from Europe.
