The extra virgin rapeseed oil is home grown within the Cotswolds in the UK. Boasting less that half the saturated fat than olive oil, the product is full of health and ecological benefits.
The oil is a source of both Omega 3 and Vitamin E; naturally low in cholesterol and is not genetically modified to aid growth. It can be used for a variety of uses, from dressing to roasting.
With it being grown, produced and bottled all on the same farm, it reduces Cotswold Gold’s carbon footprint significantly; less transit and therefore less carbon emissions. Furthermore, production kept on the same site means that all processes can be personally overseen, making sure all equipment and methods are of the highest standard of ecological benefit.
Cotswold Gold have been nominated and won many awards including the Cotswold Life Food & Drink Awards 2012 – Food Product of the Year, Gold Star for Cotswold Gold for both 2010 and 2011, and Red Ribbon Awards 2012 – Young Gun.
