Chi-Yu Wellness Centre
Mami, the founder of Chi Yu Wellness Centre, uniquely combines Eastern and Western holistic therapy, tailoring each treatment to individual needs and assisting the body’s self-healing ability. She specialises in the therapeutic use of acupuncture, aromatherapy, craniosacral therapy, holistic beauty therapy, massage therapy and reflexology.
While growing up in Japan, Mami benefitted from traditional Eastern therapies, which became the root of her fascination with the philosophy of complementary therapies. Today this is what drives her determination to help others benefit from the connection of body and mind.
After studying complementary therapy in 1998 at Raworth International College, which culminated in a BSc (Hons) degree in acupuncture from the University of Westminster, she started Chi Yu Wellness Centre. Mami is also a member of British Acupuncture Council and Complementary Therapists Association.
Chi Yu is a Japanese-inspired wellness centre providing the best in complementary therapies and treatments. In Japanese, chi yu is 'healing' and shizen chiyu ryoku means the 'body's self-healing ability', and this is the inspiration behind Chi Yu Wellness Centre. Using Japanese traditional philosophy as inspiration, their aim is to support your body’s healing through careful application of Oriental and complementary therapies.
Dedicated to bringing their clients innovative and cutting edge therapies, Chi Yu recently launched LED Light Therapy treatments at the centre. This new innovative facial rejuvenation treatment uses a specific wavelength of light to revitalise and perfect the skin.
The Chi Yu Wellness Centre has been seen on Made in Chelsea, as well as in the Evening Standard, Cocosa’s Handpicked Luxury, and their products have been mentioned by Madonna in Marie Claire.
