Blanche in the Brambles
Blanche in the Brambles was created by Elizabeth Eastwood, born and raised in the rolling green hills of Hampshire. A Bristol-based business, Blanche in the Brambles creates luxurious and exclusive collections of faux fur and sheepskin accessories, inspired by all those frosty British mornings in the countryside.
The company took off in 2009, after Elizabeth received a positive reaction from a much-loved pair of homemade earmuffs. Her first collection sold at Britain’s oldest department stores, Liberty and Fenwick. Its simple philosophy is that all products are made in England and inspired by England.
Elizabeth has experience in the luxury fashion sector in both Paris and London and is a graduate of London College of Fashion. A country girl at heart, the company takes its name from the family’s Dalmatian, Blanche. Her inspiration comes from nature and embracing the British winter with snug pieces that all have to include Elizabeth’s trademark fur detailing
.
The popularity of Blanche in the Brambles proves that there is no need to use real fur when such luxury imitations are available. You can find Blanche in the Brambles at Asos, Fenwicks, Liberty and their own online store. Their guilt-free fur has been seen in Vogue and Elle.
